The 3 Best Shoes For Crossfit

I was very skeptical the first time I was told that a Crossfit specific shoe could make such a difference. But after seeing so many of these around the box I decided to take the leap of faith.

Reebok Crossfit Nano

The first thing I noticed was how stable they were. Something to do with the heel height being just right for Crossfit combined with the material used to create lateral stability in the upper part of the shoe.

I sprint and do agility drills in them whenever the WOD requires and they're perfectly comfortable as well as lightweight.

Reebok Crossfit Lifter

These are more expensive but if making sure that your shoes aren't stopping you from hitting your next Olympic weight lifting PR, then these are the ones to get. If you prefer to mix it up more with sprints and mile runs, stick with the less expensive Nano.

Reebok Crossfit Power Lite

One of the most popular weight lifting shoes of all time are the classic Converse Chuck Taylor's. The Power Lite is Reebok's answer to those.

I always felt that Converse could sell a lot more Chuck's to weight lifters if they made the toe box just a bit wider. Reebok must have heard me because that's exactly what they've done. They took a classic lifting shoe and made it even better.

Any old pair of sneakers from the back of your closet won't cut it for exercise as intense as Crossfit. The wrong shoes can cause you to miss lifts, hinder your sprints, and keep you from making that box jump.

That's why I only recommend footwear that is specifically designed to give the comfort and performance to carry you through your WODs.
